I couldn't help myself. I just pulled a 1A out of the box for myself. First thoughts? Effortless.
So many helis give the impression they are working pretty hard to stay in the air (pretty much all of them). But the 1A is quiet, smooth, responsive.
Upon examining the 1#B head you can see that there is bulk everywhere it's needed. This head design has been around for ages and it seems to be a winner (DF60, DF64C, 1#A, 1#B all have the same head... all are the most precise flyers too). The 1A/1B is tunable. If you don't like it too sensitive then you can dial down the revs and move the swash linkages in closer to the center of the servo horn.
