I couldn't help myself. I just pulled a 1#A out of the box for myself. First thoughts? Effortless.
So many helis give the impression they are working pretty hard to stay in the air (pretty much all of them). But the 1#A is quiet, smooth, responsive. It's really neat. My 22E is nice. But to be honest they do seem to suffer from motor-burnout if they aren't well tuned. (Any heli will burn motors though if not properly tuned though.)

Upon examining the 1#B head you can see that there is bulk everywhere it's needed. This head design has been around for ages and it seems to be a winner (DF60, DF64C, 1#A, 1#B all have the same head... all are the most precise flyers too). The 22E feels very precise too, but unfortunately it has a few weaknesses which let it down. Most notably the ball joints in HM-22E-Z-38. Nearly every parts order for a 22E includes some of them (my experience is no exception). The 1#A/B is tunable. If you don't like it too sensitive then you can dial down the revs and move the swash linkages in closer to the center of the servo horn.
