How to Change Dragonfly 4#1 Transmitter Mode (Throttle)
The following describes how to convert the Walkera Dragonfly 4#1 transmitter from Mode 1 (right throttle) to Mode 2 (left throttle).
The same process can be used to convert the Dragonfly 22E transmitter.
Remove the 4 screws from the back of the transmitter.
Carefully open the transmitter and remove the signal plug (2 wires (red + black)) so that you can open the transmitter more fully.
Remove the 8 screws (2 sets of 4 screws) holding each stick mechanism in position.
Slide out the left most panel which holds the left side of the mechanism up and out (not spring loaded).
Slide out the right most panel which holds the right side of the mechanism up and out (spring loaded)
Swap the two panels and put them back in position.
Screw the 2x4 screws back in to secure the mechanisms. Be sure to place the brass leaf-spring (originally in the top-left position) on the bottom-right most screw (this will keep your throttle in position).
Follow the wires from the inner most sensors (for vertical movement) to where they plug into the circuit and swap them (this swaps the role of the vertical movements (throttle becomes elev and vice-versa)).
Close the transmitter and plug the signal plug (from step 2) back in.
Screw the 4 main screws in and you're done.
Unplug the main and tail motor before checking that the transmitter functions correctly.
Converting most Walkera transmitters is similar. However, the WK701 (Dragonfly 36/60/68) transmitter cannot easily be converted.
